RETAIL INFORMATION

Variety Growers is open to the public year-round. Unique to our company, there are flowering plants available 52 weeks a year. Our primary growing seasons are May-July for spring annuals and November and December for Christmas plants.

Our products range from traditional holiday plants and annuals, to the more unusual and specialty crops. What really separates us from other growers is our many years of horticultural experience and very tight quality control.

Gloxinias are produced from April thru November. Superior to any you have seen, they set the standard for this crop and are great for all home decorating and party centerpieces.
Our blooming Hydrangeas are extra special in a variety of sizes for Easter and Passover in pink, blue, and white.
Flowering Amaryllis is a big fall and Christmas crop with only top size bulbs producing multi-stems in a great assortment of colors.

Christmas is a beautiful time to visit our greenhouses with acres of Poinsettias filling the range. Ours are of the highest quality, with many customers telling us in the spring that they just stopped flowering! From minis to large specimen tubs and all sizes in between, we even produce Poinsettia topiaries and hanging baskets. Decorator colors such as Plum Pudding, Cortez Burgundy, Pink Peppermint and Monet are available along with the traditional Red, White, and Pink.

To liven up the dreary winter months, we have available Primrose, Cineraria, Daisies, Cyclamen and Ranunculus.
We grow many Phalaenopsis orchid plants year-round with the primary blooming period December-April. Produced from seedlings right in our greenhouses, they are fresh and of high quality lasting in bloom for months.

Springtime is ablaze with colorful annuals grown in flats, pots, hanging baskets, and combination containers. Coleus, geraniums, tuberous begonias and New Guinea Impatiens are a few of our specialties. We also carry many tropical ornamentals such as Hibiscus, Bougainvillea, Dipladenia, Jasmine, and many more. A large assortment of annuals from The Flower Fields and Proven Winners lines are grown in large and small sizes.
